Next up on Super Culture is the debut release from in-house collective, Dangerous Tribe, featuring remixes from Chicago producer, Shannon Harris, known for his sought after releases on Urbanicity, Tribal Winds and Neroli Records.

‘Dangerous Tribe’ fuses psychedelic soul, house, afro percussion and a dubbed up funk groove as the Dangerous Tribe crew drop their signature track. Shannon Harris’ Urbanicity Afrobeatology mix channels an even deeper afro feel, bringing in spoken word from Stacey Gibson with stripped down percussion that settles into a lilting grooves with swathes of vocals and psychedelic keys from renowned London musician Kishon Khan.

Dangerous Tribe members include Toney ‘Bari-tone’ Clark, Lynnford ‘Freebase’ Jones, Yeukai ‘Empyah’ Makoni & Will B. Toney comes from a family of dub heads with links to the Shanti sound system; Lynnford was an original member of Metalheadz with Goldie and a renowned drum & Bass producer and DJ in his own right; Yeukai sings with the incredible Bukky Leo & Black Egypt afro beat outfit and Will B is a longstanding DJ/Producer on London’s house scene.

On the remix is Shannon Harris. Known for his creative individuality, Shannon surpasses boundaries in DJ-ing, music production & composition, with his work and performances spanning many genres. Shannon has performed with artists such as Ron Trent, Awesome Tapes from Africa, MoodyMan, David Mancuso, DJ Quantic, Kahil El'Zabar and Ali Shaheed Muhammed.
